Automate the creation of your cooling circuits
- TopSolid’Mold 2024 offers two new wizards for creating cooling circuits:
- The first one allows you to generate distributed drillings on a profile, while considering components to avoid and maintaining a minimum distance between each drilling.
- The second one automates baffle creation.
- These two new tools significantly minimize the time needed to create cooling circuits on complex parts.
Accelerate pin positioning
- You can detect the lowest machined length of the pin to finely adjust the component's process.
- The depth required for the guide bore is calculated from this length.
- This automates the creation of pin processes while minimizing the risk of errors.
Implement your injection components more easily
- "Sprue bush" type components now benefit from a dedicated inclusion command.
- This way, the sprue bush is automatically positioned, sized and limited very quickly!
Verify and analyze the plastic sprue
- Automatically generate the shape of the plastic sprue.
- This shape is produced from miscellaneous parts of the runner circuit (sprue bushes, runners, gates, sprue pullers and plastic shapes).
- Thanks to the sprue created, gather important information for the mold designer (volume of plastic injected per cycle, mass,...) . It can then be used for other requirements (drawing, rheology).
Create your electrodes faster
- Thanks to TopSolid’Electrode 2024, use the new design methods introduced in TopSolid’Design 2024 and create command sequences to automate frequent tasks.
- From the selection of a simple isolated surface shell on the core/cavity shape, you can use a design method to automate the creation of the eroding shape, electrode, marker and mandrel positioning.
- This new feature allows you to standardize your designs massively and offers significant time savings.
