The annual client workshop of Cadam Solutions AG took place on Friday, April 27th 2012 in Lorenzsaal in Cham.

CADAM Solutions AG is a Swiss reseller of Missler Software SA and distributes the fully integrated CAD/CAM solution TopSolid. Missler Software is the second biggest CAD/CAM software manufacturer in France with 5 developement centers, one oft hem being in the Swiss city of Delémont. Missler Software was represented by Patrick Martin, channel manager for the German-speaking region. Mr Martin took this opportunity to hand over a trophy in the name of Missler Software, and thank the Cadam Solutions team for a successful collaboration in the past year.

Over 40 clients and guests made their way to Cham to learn about the new possbilities oft he actual TopSolid 2012 version, and to get an idea of the upcoming TopSolid 7 version.

 TopSolid new functionalities

TopSolid 2012 brings new features like a new algorythm for the treatment of turbine blades, an automatic calculation of work angles for the 4-5 axis simultaneous machining and a new algorythm for the automatic optimization when creating envelopes of revolution for turning. The new possibility to represent tool paths only partially was also mentioned.

The lunch was the opportunity for attendees to exchange experiences, after which TopSolid 7 was presented to the audience. The userfriendly navigation of the software was only one of the key points evoked: the reaction of the attendees was very enthusiasic tot he new software generation.
