Okuma Corporation, the global leader of CNC machines and controls, hosted an exhibition called "Okuma Machine Fair 2015" at the main factory of Okuma Corporation's headquarters in Aichi prefecture, Japan, from November 10th to 13th 2015.
The exhibition was full of enthusiastic visitors from both domestic and international markets, eager to see the total of 36 cutting-edge machines on display, with its main focus on 5 axis machines and mill turn machines.
Missler Software, the developer of TopSolid'Cam, and Kodama Corporation, the TopSolid distributor in Japan, have built a strong technical partnership with Okuma by developing and marketing highly reliable post processors in the world wide market, contributing to help Okuma machine users launch their project in a short time and minimize their cost after the implementation.
Under the theme of "3D direct machining", a number of machining demonstrations were performed with NC data created by different kinds of 3D CAM software. Among them was the NC data created by TopSolid'Cam used for a 5 face double column machining center "MCR-BIII" in a press die machining demonstration, which impressed the visitors with its high precision machining by universal head.
